DH is the WORST!
About names! He doesn't like ANY names. I swear, every single name I'm like 'that's a nice name' or 'I like that' he either says ehhh or no way. And when I ask HIM for names he can't produce ANY!!!!
We aren't seriously thinking about names til we know  or  but I still like to let them float around and he is useless. I swear our baby will be called The Baby forever.

Jon wants to name every child we have after comic book characters.
I wish I was joking. Although there is ONE name he likes from Game of Thrones that we agree on - Arya/Aria
ETA: As a middle name. I'm not so in love with it as a first name.

DH is the WORST!
DH gets the boys name and I get the girls name. If we have a boy, it will be Kevin after his father. If it's a girl, I'm learning towards Betsey, Violet or Susannah. He likes them all.

I think Aria is a nice first name with your last name. Not that I'm siding with Jon by any means.

I think Aria is a nice first name with your last name. Not that I'm siding with Jon by any means.
It's pretty. I could get used to it - we'll see.
In the end I'll have the final say-so on names because that's just how we are but I'd like his opinion at least, and I'd like him to be somewhat enthusiastic about our name choice!

Ugh, tell me about it! DH is stuck on this one girls name that is nice enough, but soooo popular right now. I just don't want my daughter to be another Jessica or Jennifer.
Hopefully we'll be having a boy

My husband was the same way! It wasn't until 26 weeks or so that he finally started being serious about it. Before that he would suggest such winners as - Thor, Darth Vader etc...he was rebelling because I veto'd naming the baby after him LOL

Dh was like this too , said no to every boy name but a junior. It took 2 young reception girls at our salon swooning over my name choice to get him to finally come around ... Lol

yea umm try being team green TWICE and having to come up with names! Girl names have always been easy for us and of course pregnancy #1 was a boy- we decided the name 3 days before he was born

Don't feel bad, the only names Randy ever suggested were CALVIN and LINUS. As in Calvin and Hobbs and Linus from Peanuts.

You are not alone! Franky is OBSESSED with Game of Thrones...like the world stops when it's season is on. He also wanted Aria if we had a girl. I don't mind it though. Also Amelia...is that a Game of Thrones name too? Which I also don't mind.
DH wouldn't really talk names until after he found out it was a boy. I would mention "what do you think about X as a name" and I'd get a shrug. I would start telling him "if you don't talk names with me...I'll just wait until you leave the room and then I'll fill out the birth certificate". After we found out it was easy to get a name out of him and I LOVE the name. It's a common name and simple but it has such meaning!

Emilia Clarke plays Daenarys on GoT  I actually like the name Amelia/Emilia, too, but DH is of course 'eh' on it.

My hubby was the same way! We would talk about names and every name I liked he was like eh no...then he was on a luke skywalker kick.. like really wanted to name our kid after star wars character Then.. we finally came up with 2 names and they were set! Now he wants to change the boy name to his name at 36 weeks.. I am freaking out! I really didn't want to do that considering I wanted my son to have a different name since the same name runs in both our families.. my brother was named after my father and my hubby was names after his father.. I just really wanted my kid to have his own identity.. especially since everyone always confuses them! Don't need to add a third to it.. although I am not opposed to having the nickname MJ.. so maybe I will just cave and call him MJ and never call him Michael, is that bad?

My DH is the worst too. We are team green. I have 8 weeks to go and we can't agree on names. The girls name we have but there are nicer but at least we both agree on it. The boys names he has his and i have mine. If this is a boy the poor child will have 2 names LOL. I dont know how we get past it. I am set on mine right now and i told him unless he can come up with something nicer then i am sticking to it. It doesnt help that our friends just had a baby too and used the name i want.
