It doesn't hurt! Slight cramping after; you may want to take a Motrin before hand.

I'm going for mine on Tuesday. I am definitely going to take 600mg of ibuprofen 1 hr before. Definitely not as bad as the HSG from what I hear; and we do them at my job and the patients tolerate it well.

No, nothing at all. I didn't even have the cramping afterwards, and I am usually sensitive. Bring your own pad for afterwards. The ones they give you there are as thick as a brick, lol

You should take the Motrin just in case however I didn't even realize he had done the procedure until he said OK you're set.
I had some discomfort after.

Hysterosalpingogram. Inject dye into the uterus while using X-rays to evaluate the Fallopian tubes to make sure they are open.

This. I first had an HSG and they thought there was a polyp. I had to have the Saline Sono as a follow up. No polyp! Saline Sono was totally fine though. Good luck!
