Right here with you (this is actually how we found out how bad the allergy was).
This is what we are going to try this year, along with gloves....
If not we'll get the eggnots (ceramic dyable eggs)

DS has since grown out of his egg allergy, but we did NOT let him dye eggs when he was allergic.

My son's reactions were from touching eggs, so no. But I was told that I am not being considerate of someone else's religion because I did not want to risk my son's life  . I know I keep bringing it up but the safest thing for my son is that I do remember that some people are willing to put him at risk.
If in doubt, call the allergist.
