Menopur
Anyone take Menopur and get a weird reaction at the injection site? I did it last night for the first time and I have a huge puffy spot this morning. I called the dr, and the nurse said that it's okay and just to call if it gets larger. I'm just curious if anyone here has had something similar.

Menopur
I never had this problem but one suggestion is to bring it to the office when you go in for monitoring and let them do the injection for you...it could be the way you are administering it or something of that nature (not sure what else - did you get any other reactions to the other meds)?

I didnt get a welt but towards the end of the injection while DH injected it felt like liquid fire is being poured into me or a very bad tootache type if intensity.
I also asked the Dr and she said its totally normal.

Menopur hurt like a S-OB to put in. It burned so bad. For me it was the worst injection I took.

yes same here. each time DH injected I was crying and needed half an hr to come down

Menopur usually did not hurt me. Lovenox on the other hand - ouch!
