Headache's
Normally I don't get headache's very often and have never had a migraine from what I know. Sat night I had the worst headache and only felt better if I was sitting or lying down and didn't move an inch. The second I got up then it would all come back.
I'm 15w so I know it's too early for preeclampsia and I was just at the doc for a checkup last week and all was fine. I know that dizziness and congestion are common in the 2nd trimester. Could the headache's just be in place/as a result of that?
TIA

Headache's
Headaches are also VERY common in the 2nd trimester. I suffer from Cluster Headaches but I can say that they have been worse since the 2nd trimester started. My cousin who NEVER gets headaches had REALLY bad ones her 2nd trimester to the point that would make her sick. Her OB advised her to up her water intake and take tylenol.

Re: Headache's
I have also been getting migraine-like headaches when I never had them before. If I don't find a way to get rid of them I usually end up supremely nauseous. This is what happened at that wedding I went to that I posted about leaving early. I think it is just one of the joys of pregnancy

Re: Headache's
How have you been sleeping? Have you been drinking enough water? Like you, I rarely got headaches before becoming pg. for the past few weeks I have been getting headaches and I find that drinking water or taking a nap will help.

Luckily I have little problem falling and/or staying asleep. Also, I might be the only person in the world who doesn't like naps. I'm a cranky and confused biotch afterwards.
Water... yeah, that's always been a problem even before pregnancy. I keep a drink with me all day and sip here and there.
I'll try to increase the intake and see if it helps.
Thanks.

Headache's
I'm 10 weeks and have been having pounding headaches for the last week. I drink TONS of water too. I actually took some Tylenol the other night it was so bad, normally I'd just wait it out they were so infrequent pre-pregnancy.

Re: Headache's
I had headaches with all three of my pregnancies, late 1st tri and 1st half of 2nd tri. With my DD (my first) it was so bad I couldnt get out of bed or keep anything down. For me, it's hormone related. Hormones levels are surging around thattime in pregnancy. I'm very sensitive to hormonal birth control too and would get monthly migraines while on it.
