Bath
how soon after the stump fell off did you give you baby a bath? I'm a bit scared to do it. Her stump fell off yesterday. It's still read and scabby. Should I wait a few more days?
Any tips/advice for her first bath? I have the infant tub that I will be using.
Thanks!

Re: Bath
For the belly button I cleaned around it w/ a Q-tip w/ alchoal on it. For the bath use a small amount of warm water. And a face cloth to clean her. You should be fine!
Your peditatrican will examine the belly button on her next visit

Re: Bath
When DD's stump fell off, there was still a "wet spot" where it had been. I waited to give her a regular bath until the whole thing had scabbed over and the scab fell off.
