Help with RE
I am overwhelmed and have been on a long journey (over 2 years of actively trying). I had a chemical last spring, and a twin pregnancy that was lost around 11 weeks.
I had a different doctor last year, but he is fired after misdiagnosing me with partial molar pregnancy and chloriocarcinoma.
I saw Dr. Kofinas for a second opinion while pregnant, and am working with him now in trying to get pregnant. It's four months, and I got my period today.
I feel that I should consider seeing an RE. Can you tell me who you recommend and why?
I work in Bethpage, so am looking for someone not too far from there, and hopefully not long office waits (or maybe early AM hours so I can get around it).
When I do monitored work with Kofinas, I go every other day (From day 10 through 20) for bloodwork and internal exams to track ovulation. Will I be doing this with the RE? It is very time consuming.
I am very overwhelmed, and depressed.
TIA
Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Re: Help with RE
I'm really happy w/ my RE - I go to Kofinas Institute, but it's in Brooklyn, not sure if that's too far from you. They're really great, have really early hours and everyone has been really supportive.
But mainly, I wanted to just send you stay strong.

Thanks. I think that is the brother of the perinatologist I go to. Brooklyn is definitely too far for me, but thanks!
