Has anyone ever had more than spotting and it's ok?

I had spotting at 5-6 weeks went to doc and everything was fine. Hcg was doubling appropriately and progesterone was good. Saw the baby and heartbeat. She said it was fine to have some spotting. Then I had nothing for 2 weeks now I'm 8 weeks and yesterday I had spotting and today I have light bleeding - enough to change a liner a couple of times . I have zero cramps though. Has this ever happened to anyone and it was ok or are these early miscarriage signs?

I had some spotting last week but it was more red in color. It turned out I have a "scratch" in my va-jay-jay from the progesterone suppositories.

I had a bit of heavy spotting when I spotted. My doctor told me specifically to worry about VERY heavy bleeding like you have to change a pad every 2 hours along with heavy cramping. If you are close to when you WOULD have gotten your period if you weren't pregnant that can have something to do with it, too. Sex can also cause it.

If you're worried call the emergency line and explain it to them in detail, or call tomorrow morning and speak to the doctor or nurse and see what they say.

I have def heard stories of girls having this and being fine, but I would call the DR just to be sure!

Yes. I had this twice during the first trimester.

I just had this happen to me today and I'm 13 weeks...I called and s/w my doc and he said it was from the pap...I'm sure everything is fine with you... he asked if I had cramps and heavy bleeding...I didn't so he said everything will be fine
Call your dr if u are still worried

i bled througout most of my pregnancy,heavy at times due to multiple sch

and had gushes where i made a trail throughout lij when i ruptured my placenta

twins are great and snoring right by me

i had a huge gush of blood at about 6.5 weeks and one other episode of light bleeding around 12 weeks. i am 23 weeks now.

Crashing - yes, I had this with DS 2 early in the second trimester.

They say sometimes bleeding just happens and has nothing to do with the pregnancy at all.

I hope you get in to see the Dr today to ease your mind.

I understand this scary but you have to understand that your body is stretching and also it could be some leftover blood from your last cycle. I would definitely tell the doctor just to be safe but you should be ok!!

I bled a few times throughout my pregnancy early on and I have a beautiful little girl now. I thought for sure one time it was over the bleeding was so heavy and I went to the dr and everything was totally fine. Its common - Id still call the dr but everything is probably okay! Thanks again everyone - I have an appt Thursday and it stopped completely so I'm going to wait. I really appreciate the feedback - put my mind at ease!!
