Excited yet petrified
Hi all! So here's the sitch...just got my BFP on the 13th, 10dpo. This will be our 2dc. I'm elated, over the moon excited Bc we have been trying for a while, but I'm also so nervous. I took 3 FRER and they all came up positive, but my dr appt isn't till mid April! I know it's standard but I'm having a hard time trying to relax, I just want to know its ok. Has anyone else experienced this? How'd you deal? Thanks for letting me vent.

Congratulations and Welcome!! I had a hard time in the beginning, bc i had suffered a loss in Nov. But i tried to say postitive, and with each passing, successful appointment I felt alittle better. Im still nervous but i feel good about this pregnancy. HTH
Welcome again, have a happy and healthy 9 months!!!

Congrats!
I totally understand your anxiety. I'm still going through it. In the waiting game now for my 12 week appt. I just try to keep busy and have more positive thoughts than negative. It's really hard though.

CONGRATS AND WELCOME TO THE BOARD!!!
I have to agree that the waiting is nerve racking! Can you call to have a blood test taken just to confirm? I found out when we were 3 weeks along and they wouldn't see be for another 5 weeks. It was the longest 5 weeks of my life!!!! We went to Mexico beforehand and I was terrified something would happen while we were away.
The only way I found to deal with it was to get the blood test to confirm pregnancy. I did have to go to the dr at one point before my appt because I had a yeast infection and they confirmed again the pregnancy through a urine test. At 6 weeks I ended up in the ER from dehydration due to excessive vomiting. They gave me my first sono at the hospital but still...that wait felt like FOREVER!
Inbetween all the things mentioned I just kept peeing on internet cheapie sticks to make sure it was still sticking. HAHA!

Thank you all, I appreciate it. With DS I got a blood test to confirm, and could prob do the same thing now, I'm going to call the dr on Monday to ask some questions! Thanks again! Looking forward to an amazing 9months!!

I'm in the same boat...second DC...the first time around I had an apt early at 5/6w.
now I'm waiting til April for my first official apt...at which I should be 8w. i went in around 6w for a reg exam and blood work...but haven't gotten results yet (and prob won't til the april apt).
I'm anxious!!! although now...a week later...i def feel preggo.
