Being sick while pregnant stinks
Ugh, I'm achy all over, have a raging sore throat, and have a low fever. I just want to curl up and sleep all day!
Do I need to call my dr at all? I've just been taking acetaminophen and cough drops.

i would call just to be safe. i had the same thing as you yesterday, and i was diagnoised with strep yesterday, and im on amoxicillian.
Feel better! Being sick while pregnant stinks.

That was me last Sunday. Went to doctor Monday and had strep as well. Was given ammoxicllin. I called my ob and was instructed to see my primary dr.

Ugh I hope it's not strep. Why do these thing always happen on the weekend? I'm stuck waiting until the morning at this point and then I guess I'll go to urgent if I still feel awful.

I would call your regular primary doctor. I was sick three times with resp. infections this last pregnancy. There are many safe antibiotics that you can take that won't harm the baby. Tylenol is also safe in pregnancy for the pain/aches.

I'm feeling better today. Sore throat is mostly gone. I'm just exhausted and still a little achy. May call my primary doc tmrw just in case. Thanks everyone!
