Reducing bubbles in powder formula?
Any tips for reducing air bubbles in powdered formula? My bottles are so foamy after I shake them! I tried swirling the bottles, but couldn't get rid of all the lumps.

Reducing bubbles in powder formula?
Can you make them in advance and put them in the fridge?. Then, by the time you give them to her, the bubbles will have settled. Just have to warm them up if you want.

we used to mix with a fork instead of shaking them - no lumps and no bubbles

THe Dr Brown's pitcher is great at reducing bubbles and for making an entire day's worth of formula. If I make 1 bottle, I will use a butter knife to stir the formula & warm it up a little too because I find that the powder mixes better when warmer- I never shake the bottle.

THe Dr Brown's pitcher is great at reducing bubbles and for making an entire day's worth of formula. If I make 1 bottle, I will use a butter knife to stir the formula.

We have a little electric formula mixer. It's like an electric whisk for formula. Got it as a shower gift and its pretty useful.

I shake mine and it doesn't impact DS...he burps the same whether it's settled or foamy.

We love Dr. Brown's pitcher. I also have the formula mixer that's like a wisk and that's good for if I'm making a single bottle.

or even just let them sit..they r good for a hr,after 10 min the foam goes down

I tried doing that, but they were still pretty foamy even after 30 min. DD drinks similac sensitive, so maybe that powder makes more foam.

DD drinks Similac Sensitive. It is THE foamiest formula!
