Intro plus question

Hi Ladies!!

DD was born on March 7, a couple weeks early via schedule csection. She was full term on arrival and has been doing great.

Anyway, as most newborns, she sleeps most of the day (20 hours-ish). Ped is fine with this. Anyway, my mother is already on my case, which is annoying as a ftm.

Question: where does you LO nap?

She sleeps in the pack and play at night ( which is on the second floor) and naps mostly in a swing. Is there anything wrong with this?

Congrats!! Sounds very normal to me. Newborns need a lot of sleep and you should enjoy this stage while it lasts because soon she will be getting up a lot more. My girls loved their swing and the rock n play which is awesome. If you want you can put her to sleep in her crib too just make see she is on her back and nothing but the baby is in the crib.

My DD slept in the rock n play at night and the swing/bouncer/pack n play - (anywhere really) for her naps. I don't think there's anything wrong with where your DD is sleeping.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy!! I haven't introduced dd to her crib yet, however I am glad to hear the swing is fine. Thank you- I hate questioning myself!

we did the same as you. She mainly napped in the swing until almost 6 months old, sometimes in the bouncy seat.

And she slept in the pnp at night. I feel like the transition from pnp to crib was so east b/c it's so similar to the crib.
