How many mature follies after Clomid?
Just had my CD11 ultrasound and I have 3 mature follies. 1 on my left and 2 on my right. This doesn't necessarily mean when I ovulate they're all up for grabs right? I don't mind twins but the thought of triplets makes me a little nervous. Of course I know that it increases my odds of making connection with just 1, but I'm just being paranoid.
This is my first cycle on it so I'm not really sure what to expect.

It would depend on the size, but if they are calling all three dominant follicles then it is possible that all 3 can release an egg. Does not mean that if that does happen that all three will fertilize, but it is possible.

I just completed a clomid cycle where on IUI day i had 3 mature follicles - 24mm, 22mm, and 19.5mm. Lining was great. Everything looked perfect.
BFN!! Now i feel selfish for even secretly hoping for twins because i got nothing.
It is of course possible to have triplets from 3 follicles, but not probable. I've always had more than 1 mature follicle on clomid cycles and have had 2 singleton pregnancies (20mo DS and a miscarriage in Dec '12).

I'm sorry you got a BFN. That really sucks! Thank you for letting me know about the clomid though. I'm not getting my hopes up too much but I really hope that this is it for us. Good luck to you

I recently had 2 mature follicules and ended up w a BFN
so try not to think like that and just hope for a healthy baby :)

I had 3 or 4 my last cycle (injectables) got bfn also. I only had 1 or 2 each month with clomid.

After 200mg of Clomid, I had 2 mature follicles and ended up with a BFN. Some women respond great to it, some not so much so I would just go ahead with either TI or Iui whichever you are doing. Hopefully one will stick!!

I had two beauties that were mature and ready from 50mg clomid this cycle.. BFN!! (Sorry still bitter!!). Very common to have 1-4 on clomid, more from injectables. This cycle, O will most likely be on my left side with a blocked tube so I am hoping they either up my dose or give me injectables so I have a better chance of some follies on the rt side. my 1st cycle i had 4 mature follicles.
It was the cycle i got pregnant.  Only 1!

How many mature follies after Clomid?
I just did my first 50 mg Clomid and IUI cycle. IUI was on Tuesday. On day of IUI I had 26, 18, and 13.5. MY RE said they were all fine. Even though optimal is above 20 according to him. He also said he saw someone get pregnant with triplets with 3 follicles around 12. Crazy right? The odds of triplets are pretty low. Honestly you are lucky to get 1 baby from a Clomid cycle.
