You always here "once you hit your 30s its harder when ttc".. etc etc etc

Does anyone believe this or have looked into this? I just turned 30 and i'm trying not to stress..

A ton of my friends were 30/30+ when they got pregnant with no problems. But I'm not a doctor... Would speak to your OB. Everyone's body is different.

I got pregnant on our first month TTC when I was 30.

Its obviously different for everyone, but I would say you're still in good child bearing years :) Most people I know didn't have their first child until after 30. I work with a friend that just had her first at 39 and her baby is perfect and healthy.

I am 35 and got pregnant for the 1st time and was completely in shock
Everything will be fine and I have noticed more and more people are getting pregnant at a later age

I know many women over 30 who have gotten pregnant with no problem. I think it all depends on your medical history and fertility good luck!

I wouldnt stress about age so much.. 30 is young and I was 31 when I got pregnant (a month before I turned 32) and it was a surprise to me so I guess it just depends on the person:)

I think it's different for each person based on so many different variables.

I'm 30, and got pregnant the 2nd month. (We weren't trying but also not preventing).

As the eggs get older it is true that they say it's harder. I'm 29 and conceived the first month (ended in MC) and then 2 months later. My friend is 36 and conceived quickly as well. Try not to stress out about it, that can make it harder to conceive as well. Too many factors can affect TTC so try to relax and enjoy all that BDing!!!

I've heard that too, but conceived the first time trying at age 31. I also have a ton of friends who have gotten pregnant in their 30's. So, I wouldn't worry about anything yet.

Unless you've been trying for a while and nothing is happening, I wouldn't stress.

I think age certainly can be a factor, but I think it's a lot about you and DH and your fertility.

My SIL is about 5 years younger then me. She has 4 YO twins but needed help - so she was about 30.

I was 35 when I got PG the first time - on the first try. I had a MC but a month later got PG agian on first try, and now have a 3 1/2 YO.

I am now 21 weeks PG and will be giving birth a few months after i turn 40 and we again had no problem getting PG.

So, try not to worry. I think at 30 you are still ok. Most of my friends have had children in their 30s with no problem.

I started when I was 25. It took me multiple IVFs and a failed surrogate to get where I am today.


30 is perfectly fine... From what I've seen, either you will have a hard time, or you won't - and that's at any age.

Its not a magic switch that gets flipped at 30. I think people who have issues will have them whether they are 20 or 40.

The only thing age does is deminish egg count and soemtimes quality.

I got pregnant with dd when I was 30 the first try. This pregnancy I was 32 when I got pregnant and it took 4 months. I have no idea if my age was a factor in it taking longer but I guess it's a possibility.

I had my DD in my late 20s and it took almost 6 months. This time around (early 30s) its took only one month.

I got pregnant on the first try when I was 33-- I am now 35 and hope that I will be blessed with another healthy pregnanc, but havent started trying yet. I agree that age is but one factor and not a definite cut off.

It is true, but I think it is only because reproductive problems tend to get worse as we get older. Things such as early menopause, pcos, etc. only gets worse.

Got pregnant at 34 in two months of trying ..then got pregnant at 37 on the first try.Good luck!!!!

From what I have heard as you get older it can get harder to conceive, but many people do get pregnant naturally within the first 6 months of trying after 30.
