When do you take the 1 hour glucose test?
I don't remember!!! Also, I have switched OB's since my first DC, do all places allow you to take the drink home so you don't have to wait in the office for an hour???

When do you take the 1 hour glucose test?
I think it was as 28 weeks I did the test.
My dr gave me the drink before hand so I didn't have to wait. But not sure if all drs do the same

My dr said I will get the script at my next dr appt (which is Monday and I'll be 25 weeks). Then she said I'll go to Quest to have the test taken. She said to go around 28 weeks.

I was given the script at 24 weeks and took the test at 26 weeks
ETA: oh and I had to drink the drink in the office and wait an hour

When do you take the 1 hour glucose test?
With DD1 I believe it was at 28w, and my dr gave me the drink to bring home and I drank it on my way in.
With this pregnancy it was at 24w, and I had to go to the office, drink the drink, then wait an hour for the blood draw.
So basically it depends on your dr!

Typically between 24-28 weeks. I am taking mine around 24 weeks.

They wanted me to do it btwn 27-28 weeks and I had to go to the lab (Quest) to drink it, wait an hour and then they did the bloodwork.

Have any of you had to go to a lab to do it? I had an appointment last night and they gave me a script for it-I am sort of annoyed because with my other dc I got the drink ahead of time and did not have to wait.

With my DD 5yrs ago and I was at a different practice I had to go to Quest and drink there and wait in waiting room for hour. Not with my current OB. So it depends on your what your Dr office does (esp if they DO NOT have a lab on site)
