Bathroom opinions...
What are your thoughts on separate tub with tile up the wall vs one of those fiberglass tub/shower one piece installations? Would love to hear any & all opinions.

I HATE fiberglass or acrylic anything!! I have a shower pan in my master bad right now and I can't wait to re-do the bathroom down the road.
When it is is new, it looks great but once it starts to age it's hard to keep clean. No amount of bleach will get it looking new.

Really? I always thought tile & grout were hard to keep clean. I thought the fiberglass things were smooth & easier to clean.

My parents had an insert in the bathroom in their old vacation house. It was awful. So hard to keep clean, and it just looks cheap.
IMHO I would definitely do a tub and tile, even the least expensive white subway tile will look a million times better than an insert.

Fiberglass is definitely easier to clean but I feel like it can look "dated" after a while I dunno. My mom loves it bc of how easy it is to clean but Im not a huge fan

Bathroom opinions...
Not at all a fan of the inserts. I think they often tend to look like a "quick fix" for a bathroom. I would always chose tile over an insert.
