Measuring the size of baby without a sono?
Can they estimate the weight/size of the baby without a sono in the late stages?
Im 32w1d and had a growth sono at 30 weeks. I'm pretty sure that I don't have any more sonos coming up, so I'm wondering if they'll be able to estimate how big the baby it.
I know that it would only be an estimate anyway, and they are usually not right, but I'm soo curious!. I keep having dreams that my baby is huge .

I think by measuring your stomach they have an idea of how big the baby is. My doctor told me I'll have a growth sono around 32 weeks I think and then again at 36 just to make sure that he doesn't get too big.

Measuring the size of baby without a sono?
So funny - I am going to the dr tonight and was wondering the same thing. My OB from my last pregnancy would just feel my stomach and gave an estimate of the weight at the time and what DD would weigh at birth and he was spot on.
OB I see for this pregnancy has never said anything, so I have no idea if I am carrying a peanut or a giant or something in between! I am planning on asking tonight - I am almost 33w. I don't have a sono until 36w, and haven't since 20w - I am dying to see LO!
