The reality TV road has not ended for Sean Lowe.

Fresh off the heels of a successful season as ABC's The Bachelor, Lowe, 29, has joined another hit show on the same network: Dancing with the Stars.

Tuesday's Good Morning America announced that the Dallas heartthrob will hit the dance floor on March 18 alongside returning pro, Peta Murgatroyd, when the hit show returns for its 16th season.

"Hopefully, I won't make a fool of myself on the dance floor," Lowe said.

Lowe follows in the footsteps of fellow Bachelor franchise alumni Melissa Rycroft – who won Dancing's all-star season – and Trista Sutter.

The remaining cast members, including Wynonna Judd, Kellie Pickler, Jacoby Jones and PEOPLE's newest blogger, Lisa Vanderpump, were all announced on Feb. 26.
