pumping at work - BTDT or anyone who knows :)
Is it a law that states that your company must allow you to take breaks to pump? If so, does it matter on the size of your company?

Excellent -- thank you so much for this. I just hate the 'upaid' part. I guess this means I'll be brown bagging my lunch everyday in order to not be docked any time!

The law says the employer does not have to pay for the pumping breaks, but depending on what your job is and your employer's policies, your breaks may be paid (i.e. they are allowed to be more generous). Definitely give them notice that you plan on using the benefit, and that you will require a private place to pump, so all of it is arranged in advance and hopefully you won't have to scramble on your first day back. GL!!

Its the law and you must be provided space to do so! On my floor theres is three of us that pump and we all alternate and pump in an empty office.
