Stretch mark cream raves?
I am fortunate to say I currently have NO stretch marks  but I'm getting big FAST.
The woman at Destination talked me into getting this stuff made from a company called Basq. Anyone hear of this or use it? Any other recs?
I figure no better time to start lathering on cream than right now! Not gonna lie.. her sales tactic also scared me into it

I use mama mio cream and oil and I had no stretch marks with DS and so far none with this pregnancy (knock on wood!)

Water! The only thing that is proven to prevent stretch marks is being very well hydrated.

Stretch mark cream raves?
unfortunately i waited too long and woke up one day with stretch marks all over my tummy but i picked up the mama mio oil over the weekend hoping it will at least minimize them or prevent me from getting more. if nothing else it's moisturizing and smells yummy lol!

I didn't use anything before but after pregnancy I used bio oil and they all went away!

Agree! There is no cure for stretch marks. I do use Palmers Cocoa Butter for moisture!

I've read and heard this a lot. All I know is that I have stretch marks from puberty on both my boobs and my lower back AND my Mom has stretch marks from pregnancy so I was pretty sure I was destined to get them on my stomach. I was willing to try anything to I bought the Mama Mio Tummy Butter and Tummy Oil and I've been using them since I found out I was pregnant. I'm 37w and I do not have ANY stretch marks, not even on the underside of my stomach (my sister checked for me, lol). I don't know if I'm in for a terrible surprise after the baby comes (I've heard they sometimes don't show up until afterwards) but SO FAR this seems to have worked for me even there is no doubt that I am genetically predisposed to stretch marks.

BUT, I don't want to be the dope who didn't do it when they say in five years they were wrong. I don't go crazy, I put it on once at night and that's it. The skin there is always so smooth and never itches.

my sister swore by Vitamin E oil. She used it throughout her entire pregnancy and never got stretch marks. On the flip side I did not use anything and I did not get any stretch marks either.

This is how I feel too ... Maybe it's genetic (that would make me happy because my mom has no stretch marks after two babies) ... but I'm not taking any chances if there's something that COULD help! Plus, there's no harm in smelling pretty!

Nothing worked for me and I'm not sold on the genetic thing . My mom has the body of a 20 year old who never had kids and she's 53 . Then there is me who I got stretch marks with DD 1 everywhere but my front of the tummy . This baby they are on the front and sides . I will add I'm huge ! Abnormally huge

I used the mama mio oil ..it smells great also & was the only one I could tolerate the smell during my first 5 months, everything had to be unscented because I had MS so bad. I Had no stretch marks and my stomach was pretty big!

I just have to say, I was in the same boat as you pretty much. I have old (super faded, can hardly tell they're there) stretch marks from puberty (and I didn't even really gain much weight then, go figure) so I figured I was guaranteed to get them when I was pregnant.
Well, I've had 2 kids now and I didn't get a single stretch mark anywhere. I gained almost 50lbs with #1 and I carry huge, so I feel like if I were going to get them, I would have! With my first pregnancy I was sorta good about putting on the Target knock-off of Johnson's baby lotion but with #2 I was too busy and rarely moisturized. Basically, I don't think having stretch marks from puberty means you'll get them while pregnant. It makes no sense to me but I didn't get any.

Thats the butter.. I use the Oil because I heard that works better and seeps into your pores more according to the people at the store, lol! You can get it at destination maternity:)

I used bio oil and am going crazy bc I can't find mine right now!
I do think it's mostly genetic though but skin gets dry anyway and whatever it is helps!

This is what i used. I put it on 3 times a day. Didn't get them.
