In other fun news....
For the first time in like 2 weeks I attempted to wear jeans today.
Apparently I can still fit into my size 26's. However, I use the term 'fit' loosely.
Let's just say it's a darn good thing I'm wearing a big sweater because I am expecting to pop this button open any minute now.

That's GREAT you still fit into your jeans! Bring a hair tie with you so that you can unbutton your jeans if you need to during the day. I remember when I fit into my jeans by like 2/3PM I had to unbutton them. I ended up in maternity clothes around 8 weeks but that was only because I was so sick with HG that anything that touches my stomach with the slightest pressure made me sicker.
DEF try to hold out as long as possible in your regular clothes! I have a friend who is 6 months and she said she's just started to wear her size 6 jeans (still not in maternity). Save your money!

Re: In other fun news....
it will get worse. I still haven't bought maternity pants I am thinking this weekend I MUST HAVE TO. I have been wearing the belly band since 12 weeks and it was helping well I'm at 18 weeks and its time to move on to maternity pants because my pants are beginning to fit tight on my hips and belly ....

You're lucky, I haven't worn a pair of non-maternity jeans in 4.5 years. I miss them.

Re: In other fun news....
I have 2 pairs of jeans that "fit" but they have to remain unbuttoned and I wear a tank to pull over them, followed by loose shirts. Thing is I can button them, but its soo uncomfortable! Like you just ate thanksgiving dinner lol. I'm wondering when I'm going to break down and buy some looser clothes.

Personally I would switch to maternity pants asap. Elastic waistbands are a godsend! Don't make yourself suffer all day!

Re: In other fun news....
haha must be the day- for some reason I squeezed myself into non-maternity work pants today. I can barely breath and I may need assistance removing them- but I'm in them!

Re: In other fun news....
I've been wearing a belly band since week 10. I'm barely showing but there are days when I feel so bloated that I can't even imagine sitting all day in buttoned jeans.
At week 13 I can still button my jeans but it's a struggle.
Try a belly band. I know some people found it uncomfortable but I haven't had any complaints.
