spin off to chicago question - what to do when there
I've been to Chicago a few times before, but always on business trips so I've never had a real opportunity to explore the city....until now
so, what are the must do's and must see's..and must eats!!!!

we went to navy pier, ate chicago pizza at both giordano's and gino's east (didn't get to try lou malnati's). went to the john hancock tower, went to a game at wrigley and hung out at a bar across the street before hand, walked up and down the magnificent mile, ate popcorn from garrett's, went over to the museum campus (i believe we took a boat ride there from navy pier). We were only there 2 days so we really didn't have time for much but it was still a lot of fun.

One of my favorite things I've done there! Also, at night, there are some great blues clubs, fun dueling piano bars. I've rented a bicycle to ride along Lake Michigan; done a bicycle tour of the city,;Grant Park/Millenium Park; Willis Tower (used to be Sears Tower); the Gangster Tour - kind of chessey but fun
Also, did a sunset sail from Navy Pier; and for an amazing, but $$$$ steak dinner, Gibsons. Also liked Luxbar and Quartino

My friends and I did the ghost tour. It was really fun and somewhat educational since we didn't know a lot about Chicago's tragic history.
I second Giordanos. A deliciously memorable meal!

We went to see an improv comedy show at second city. It was awesome! A lot of famous comedians started there. We went during a very rainy week but I've heard the boat tour is aweomse! I loved Chicago!
