7 mos later...polyps
Started with the RE in Aug 2012. I've had countless ultrasounds. Friday tech said..."hmmm, I think i see a polyp." Then I go in today for more BW and sono and he sees TWO polyps. So annoying, but maybe that's the reason nothing has implanted yet So, we are going to go ahead with the IUI this week and if it doesn't work we will skip meds next month, and do the water sono and surg. I was hoping to get away with not having the water sono...UGH
Hope everyone had a nice weekend!!!!!

The water sono really isn't a big deal! I didn't even know my dr was doing it. Actually, once he finished, I didn't even know he started! Totally painless for me, hopefully it's the same for you.

Water sono is probably the easiest test I ever had. I had a fe wof them along the way.
I had polyps removed 2x. It was a one day in and out and was able to try again the next cycle.

Water sono easy- and done in office and i had 2 surgeries for 2 different polyps. 1 last week actually.
Its more of an annoying procedure than painful- Any questions feel free to ask

Re: 7 mos later...polyps
Water sono was 100% easier than the HSG! and it's very quick. They will be able to tell alot from it. I hope you get the answers that you need! I would be so frustrated as to why they didn't find this in the beginning!

Re: 7 mos later...polyps
Hmm, I'm surprised they didn't do the saline sono as part of your initial work-up. I thought that was standard since it's so non-invasive.
Better to know than to spin your wheels with treatment and potentially have an implantation problem.
