Potty and vacations

So, my 3.5 year old was potty trained about 2 months before we left for vacation. At home it's easy, but I felt like after a while he was asking about every hour to go. Is that normal when still early being potty trained?
Also he didn't poop as much while on vacation that week. I think that's just normal bc even adults don't like to when not at home. Lol
Anyone else experience this with potty training in the beginning? LO going often?
I know he does drink a lot, but I felt like he asked 5 times on the plane. Went almost every time.

its a new feeling they need to get used to and have to learn to hold it longer. I think it's normal. Maybe try and teach him to hold it longer. Don't go every time he asks. Say ok we will go in 5 mins etc. He can hold longer just feels likes he needs to go.

DD just trained about 2 months ago and can now hold it for hours. She actually amazes me haha

And the poop is normal when somewhere differetn, imo

He wants to see every bathroom that he can and will go . Wait until you go to the mall with him
