first doctors appointment tomorrow!
I am just about 6 weeks and tomorrow is my first doctors appointment! It might be too early to get a sono but do you think if I ask they will do one for me while I'm there? I am hoping they will especially since I had a miscarriage and I just want to be sure everything looks ok.

It's definitely not too early for a sono. If you truly are 6wks (meaning all your dates are correct) then you should be able to see a heartbeat.

I am somewhere between 5W3D and 6W1D because I ovulated later so I'm not exactly sure of how far along I am just yet

As per my LMP I'm 6 weeks exactly tomorrow. But I think I ovulated late and ovulated 23 days ago 24 tomorrow

my LMP was 1/19 and I ovulated 2/7 or 2/8 We are like a day or 2 apart.

Good luck! It depends on your doctor. My office wont do them before 8 weeks, even if I would have asked.

Im sure they will. When i went in at 6w I ended up being 5 weeks so we only saw the yolk sac. I was asked to come back the following week and I was able to see the baby and heartbeat

Ugh they had to reschedule because my doctor is stuck at the hospital!! And the receptionist was so rude to me on the phone! I love my doc but her office staff is the worst! I have to switch doctors due to insurance reasons and they gave me an attitude about it like why even bother coming in to see her if you're just gonna switch doctors anyway.

My office has 2 doctors and 2 nurse practitioners. I ended up rescheduling for yesterday and they STILL stuck me with one of the nurse practitioners. They didn't do anything except a pee test, and they gave me a bag of "goodies" (vitamins and pamphlets and things) And they also gave me a notice to get bloodwork done at a sunrise lab. I am going back for a sono on Mon... I'll be 7 weeks.
It will be the last time I am seeing them though because I have to switch doctors for insurance reasons :( I'm thinking of switching to Dr. SanRoman
