Hair Color

One process or highlights?

How would you explain to hairdresser? Dark Ash Blonde?

Re: Hair Color

Very pretty color. I think it looks like highlights with lowlights, or a singel process with a few lowlights.

Depends on what your color is now...and how to achieve that look.

My hair is light brown naturally. To get this look, i'm almost positive i'd have to double-process. It will depend on your natural hair color. I think dark ash blond is a good way to describe it, but i'd bring the picture to the hairdresser.

Re: Hair Color

That's a single process with highs and lows. Overall golden butter. No ash in there. Ash is flat and cooler. Bring in the pic! :)

Re: Hair Color

This looks like my hair color. I get a single color base with highlights over it. I usually do my roots with a color and then every other time, we do a highlight on my roots as well. Depends on your hair color tho. Mine is a medium/dark brown naturally.

ETA: The first time, your stylist would have to go through and do two different colored highlights. What I posted above is the upkeep. Let me know if you need me to clarify or if you want pics of my hair.

Yes that would be awesome if you would send me a pic. Could you send it to [email protected]? My hair is a light brown/medium brown color naturally but right now I have highlights in it.

Re: Hair Color

I have learned to bring pictures of what I like and don't like. It makes it a lot easier then telling them what I think something is called when in reality it may mean something else to them.
