Koalakin nursing pouch

Hello. I'm hoping to get some feedback on the KoalaKin nursing pouch .

Have any of you nursing Moms used this pouch? If you have, do you recommend it?

I'm also looking for any recommendations for a carrier that can help with hands free nursing.

Once my husband returns to work, I'll be solo with a newborn and a 2.5 yr old, so I'm looking for anything that'll make nursing easier for me - especially the cluster feeding sessions that I know will come soon!

I can't comment on this product, but I can tell you I had a great experience with hands free nursing and the moby wrap.

I've been so terrified of the Moby wrap - just learning how to wrap it around me. I know, silly. I'm sure in no time, I'd become a pro at it.

The Koalakin seems so easy. However, I can always try the Moby wrap out and see how I feel in it.

I didn't use it for about a month after I got it. It can be intimidating, but once you got it, you get it! And it's sooo great! I know there's YouTube videos out there to help too.

I nursed in my Ergo which was more $$ but more versatile.

However this looks like a really great product! Especially for a newborn and when you have other kids!

I don't have experience with it but just chiming in to say it sounds awesome! When DD was born she would nurse soo long and still does and I always say I wish I could nurse her in a sling of sorts so I could walk around. When I have a 2nd I will def need something like this!

I tried nursing in the moby wrap and I did not like it. I found you have to make the moby so tight then it's hard to get the baby in there. And forget about switching sides...taking her out and then re-shoving her in was a bit traumatic. I also felt her head needed some support while in the moby so it wasn't 100% hands free. I also felt it held her too tight and almost squished her face into my breast - like if she wants to pull off or had to spit up it would be difficult. And last note...as the baby gets bigger an heavier - the moby won't offer much support.

So anyway I did some quick research on the koalakin bc I am quite intrigued. There are a few reviews on amazon. The major complaints is the straps aren't comfy enough and as the baby grows you may need to purchase a bigger size pouch. Also some say you still need to support the head in the beginning weeks.

I agree that it sounds great. I actually ordered it and have it at home - I was just hoping to get some real reviews on it. I found that many of the "positive" YouTube videos were posted by KoalaKin itself. I did happen to see the Amazon reviews as well.

I think that in the end, it's a matter of personal preference for each Mom. I think that I'll try it out this weekend. I can let you know how it goes

What about a ring sling? Te idea of this is cool, but I would imagine baby would outgrow quickly. A ring sling can be used into toddlerhood.
