Speech Evaluation
I would like to have my DD evaluate by a speech therapist. Shes speaks very fast and I feel like her words aren't clear enough. I totally understand her but I am noticing more and more than others don't. I hope I am not too late.
She speaks a lot, knows a millions words, sentence structure isn't the issue. It's clarity.

Speech Evaluation
See if there is one covered by your insurance. If you call Early intervention,there needs to be a 25% delay. It doesn't sound like DD is delayed so probably won't qualify. You may have to go on your own

Speech Evaluation
Def call the DOH first and have your DC evaluated. It is free (no copays) and they give a full evaluation plus tips on embedded coaching. FM me if you have questions, I work in EI. 516-227-8661 for Nassau or 631-853-3100 for Suffolk .

How old is she? I seem to remember you had her when I had my son almost 4 years ago? If she's over 3, you need to contact your school district for the eval--early intervention goes to 3. She probably won't qualify because it doesn't sound like a significant delay, but good to get an opinion and put your mind to ease.
