Is 24 hours from trigger to IUI okay?

Is 24 hours from trigger to IUI okay?
I heard that once you trigger/surge, you will O around 36hours after. Why are they doing the IUI after 24? Will the washed sperm be viable?

Yes. That's how my RE did it for me. They last 48 hrs I think plus if you are surging then you will ovulate within the next 12-24 hrs. (That's what I was told). Trust your RE. Their goal is to get you pregnant.

I just wish I saw more of the DR! The RN's have been doing most of my IUI protocol. You are right.. ::relaxing:: gotta trust..

The RE I went to also always did IUI's 24 hours after trigger. I BD'd the night of too just in case! And yeah I dealt with the nurses mostly.
