Lake George Activities with 1 1/2 & 3 Yr Old?

Just booked three nights at the end of June. I've only been there once as a teenager and we really didn't do anything my kids would like. We really went to Saratoga. Any suggestions?

When I went up there (18 yrs old) we went mini golfing and also to a theme park up there. Other than that, I remember walking around in town-but that's it.

We take my son up a lot each summer (he's 3). There's a beach that we like to go to. There's also Great Escape (has about 25 kiddie rides) and Magic Forest which is geared towards young children.

They also just put in a carossel (sp?) on Canada Street in the village.

Other than that, just walking through town, get ice cream, there's a playground in Shepard's Park in the village.

Is it a specific beach you love?

There are 2 small beaches in LG. One is right in Shepard's Park (pretty much right in the village across from all the restaurants). The other one, which is slightly larger and much better for swimming, is called Million Dollar Beach and is located on Beach Road down past the steamboats and across from Fort William Henry. I much prefer Million Dollar Beach. My DS loves the beach there because it's a lake so there arent really any waves and it's nice a shallow over there so he can stand and play.

Have fun!!
