Question about chicken pox vaccine

My DS is going to be getting the chicken pox vaccine tomorrow and I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I haven't had the vaccine, but I had a mild case of chicken pox as a child. Is there any risk I could catch it?

Also, he has a couple bday parties coming this week and next week. Is if ok for him to go?

The Dr told me it is a live virus so it is expelled in their salvia, sneezes, etc- however he said the only people at real risk are those with compromsied immune systems- chemo patients, etc
The virus is live but in a weakend form so unless you have a very weak immunity you shouldn't be able to catch it.
That goes for the birthday parties too- DD went to school the next day.

If you are nervous though about being pregnant I'd just ask the ped before you get him the shot to double confirm- and/or ask your OB

I am PG and DS's pediatrician wouldn't give his the second dose b/c I don't have titers for CP. He said to wait until this baby is old enough before giving the sacond one to DS.
