Good hotel halfway between NY and Orlando?
Not sure where we will be stopping but anyone have suggestions on a decent hotel for a night say North Carolina area (close to I-95. Nothing too fancy but not seedy maybe with free breakfast?

We always stay in the town of Lambertville in NC when we are on 95. It is an exit with a lot of hotels, restaurants, a Walmart etc. lots to choose from and feels safer to me when there is a lot of stuff around.

My parents drive between NY and Tampa a few times a year and they always stop in Santee SC. They said it makes for 2 doable days of driving.

My parents always stay at Country Inns and Suites in Florence, SC - off of I95 right near the border of NC and SC. Think it includes breakfast. My mom says its clean and really nice. She's picky about cleanliness.

This is the one we stop in ... OR the Holiday Inn in Fayettville NC... Its very clean .
