Take home outfit if we have a girl...
With DS I bought a neutral outfit for him to wear home from the hospital. For DD, I bought one boy and one girl outfit and returned the one I didn't want. We'll be doing the same this time around. We found the girl outfit, on the hunt for the boy outfit.
Since DD had a lot of dark black hair when she was born, we figure if we have a girl, she'd have the same. It would look great with the yellow.

I never thought to buy an outfit for each- I bought a neutral with ds since we were team green last time... We are again, and I am totally stealing this idea of a separate boy & girl outfit- so much more fun!

I never thought to buy an outfit for each- I bought a neutral with ds since we were team green last time... We are again, and I am totally stealing this idea of a separate boy & girl outfit- so much more fun!
Just make sure you keep the receipt with the clothes so DH can bring the other one back for you  . I had the outfits at home for DH to wash while I was in the hospital, he just had to bring the right one in. It was so much more fun shopping for both.
