Self cleaning ovens

Hi all,

I had a family dinner tonight and needless to say I ruined the inside of my oven. Being that I'm 7 weeks pregnant I did not want to use oven cleaner!

I have a self-cleaning oven so when I went to sleep I ran it for 3 hours! My husband was up during the cycle and after about 2 1/2 hours I wake up to go to bathroom and I smell awful fumes - don't know how my husband thought this normal! After reading about it the fumes are normal but my concern....

How normal during pregnancy are the fumes from self-cleaning stoves???? I just opened my windows now but I have been breathing this in for 2 1/2 hours while sleeping!

It is just burning the food off in the oven...nothing really harmful, but yes....it smells disgusting! I would suggest leaving a window open in the kitchen so your. Woke house doesnt smell tomorrow from it.
