A small but meaningful consideration

DH worked today and worked later tonight, helping out someone who had a family emergency.

His other job asked if he could work tomorrow night too...I only knew this because I saw it in his email (I went in there because I needed to print something out). He replied, "Hi sorry I'd love to help out but my wife is pregnant and sick and my daughter is sick so it wouldn't be fair to them".



That was so sweet of him because we're always saying his other job is a nice side job for extra money and how if you say 'no' a few times they'll probably just go to the next person. So while we both would rather him say yes, I thought that was so sweet

ETA: Just felt like sharing, it's been a crappy week of feeling sick and I'm just DONE!

DH called off a weekend trip a few weeks ago because he felt bad leaving me with the girls by myself.

I admit I thought there was an ulterior (sp??) motive - but it seems he was just being nice
