I passed the 3 HR!!!!
I was SOOO upset that I had to take this 3 hr glucose test because I knew that what I ate before the 1 hr test was going to screw me up. And I knew that if I sat in their chairs for 3 hours, my sciatica would kill me for the next 14 weeks.
So, I brought my own chair, my laptop and 2 movies, woke up at 6:30 yesterday morning on my day off, and took the 3 hr. Do you know how many crazy person looks I got for sitting in my own chair? But the technicians told me that it was the smartest thing they've ever see someone do for that test. Oh, and they also told me that at quest labs, there is no reason you can't just walk in on a Saturday to take the glucose tests even though you can't schedule them online like that (if it helps anyone else).
I called the dr's office back bc they left me a message and since I had been so pissy on the phone with her (which I apologized about), she said, "I wasn't sure whether I was going to have to yell at you because you didn't take the test, or hopefully call you with good news. Congratulations, you passed-you did great."
I am so freakin' happy. And now I'll go home and eat my V-day candy.

I would totally do it again in a heartbeat, it was so much better than sitting in their chairs and staring at the clock for 3 hrs.
