ques regarding tub for those with kids
Hi ladies,
my husband wants to get a deeper tub (20in instead of 14in) for our bathroom. it would not be a jacuzzi tub just a deeper regular tub. down the line if we have kids I'm concerned that the tub may be too deep for bathing a child. any thoughts?

My parents have a deep bathtub and it's rough on my back when I give DD a bath at their house. I usually wind up just climbing in there with her. I can't imagine doing it every night.

We have a jacuzzi tub and I've never had a problem with it in regards to bathing kids. I actually think tubs that are standard size are so funny looking now bc they look so low.

I wouldn't do it. I have had to use deeper tubs to bathe DD while away from home and it is uncomfortable.

I agree. It's really annoying and it's kind of painful.

They are doing baths that may hurt your back for such a short period of time. I say get the deeper tub and when they are a little older it will be harder for them to splash water over the top.
