Dance/gymnastics
Does anyone have any recommendations for where I could enroll my DD in a Dance type Mommy and Me class? Or possibly even a toddler gymnastics class? She's 17 months and we live in Suffolk.

We love My Gym in Huntington and Stonybrook (you can use both gyms once you sign up b/c it's the same owner)

We go to julies gym in patchogue. DD is 17 months and loves it!

Oh wow...This location is great for us...I never heard of it before!! I just looked it up online...looks like 17 months would fall into the "tiny tots" program? What sorts of stuff do they do?

It's very loosely structured. They set up lots of equipment and obstacles and the kids are free to explore. The teachers move around and spend time with each kid. Last week DD was on tne balance beam! She did great. We've only gone once since we just signed up. You can do a free trial class, there is one tomorrow at 9:45. I think it's perfect for this age.

My daughter went here when she was that age, and randomly throughout the years, and it's a great place. My son also went there when he was little. The teachers are friendly and it's fun for them. My niece just started going recently, too. Highly recommend them.

At 18 months you can go to Gold Medal Gymnastics. We've been to both the Centereach and Rocky point location.
Julie's gym is also good, but Gold Medal has much more structure. Not sure where your located but there used to be a Debbie's gym about 2 towns west of Julie's gym.
