Co-sleeper

Did anyone use one? We have a beautiful bassinet from my girls, but neither slept in it...they actually hated it! We co-slept with them for the first 12 weeks, then they moved to their cribs. With this baby, we'll probably keep the baby with us longer. I'm thinking of the Arm's Reach mini cosleeper, since I don't want it to take up a ton of space, and i won't use it as a pack and play later, so the full size does seem worth it. Any reviews, or recs?

Loved it! DD slept in it for a little over 4 months. For us it was perfect. It was convenient for breastfeeding, plus it didn't take up much space, and I think it's like a mini crib, so the transition to the crib was super smooth! I recommend the leg extension kit too :)

I used it and loved it. We got the clearvue model from walmart for $99. They have some much better looking models but I didn't want to spend a ton on it and this one adjusts to different heights so you don't have to buy the risers either. It's nice and sturdy and easy to unlatch and roll out of the way when you want to.

I will say DD outgrew it by 12 weeks. She would kick her leg over the low side, not that she was going to escape, but it was noisy. She would also pivot herself around until she was sideways and her head was against the side.

I did love having her right there next to me. I could get her in and out without getting up and was never tempted to keep her in bed with me. Loved that I never had to get out of bed at night!

Thanks! I breastfed my daughters, so I do want them right there for that reason. I think we're going to buy it!

How was the transition from sleeping with you to the crib? I'm currently co-sleeping with my 7 week old and am nervous he will never sleep in his crib!
