Should I be worried? (Baby Shower)
VENT: I have become a baby registry stalker and like absolutely nothing has been bought off our regisitry. FYI: My baby shower is next Saturday. Is that normal? that it's the weekend before I have hardly nothing for the baby yet? I'm thinking I should of just opted out of the shower and just have bought everything ourselves. Maybe I'm just an emotional prego crazy person.

Most people are last minute shoppers, but maybe if you take a break from stalking they may buy

Should I be worried? (Baby Shower)
I remember even with my bridal shower, people shop last minute. Also, people might have bought stuff and forgot to give the registry to the cashier to take the item off (which is annoying but possible). Try not to stress it. You'll get what you need, it will be worth it in the end.

No worries, lots of last minute shoppers out there. PLUS, you may be getting a lot of gift cards

A ton of people buy clothes so if you didn't register for clothes then that might be why. Close family bought bigger stuff but we got tons of stuff not on the registry.

Should I be worried? (Baby Shower)
a lot of people didn't buy things off our registry because either, they weren't "IN" to buying baby things or they didn't have the store we registered at near them (I opted to only register at buy buy baby) so we got a lot of cash and gift cards and lots random clothes. People love to give clothes, I don't know where they think the baby is going the first 3 months of life, but I guess it's the most fun part of shopping.

Should I be worried? (Baby Shower)
People shop last minute!!! My shower was rescheduled due to the hurricane....and with the new date like a week before there wasn't many things bought at all. Sometimes things don't come off of the registry and sometimes people wait until the last minute. But we ended up getting most of the large items we needed and a whole bunch of other things that we did not register for.
Same thing happened with my bridal shower! So do not worry!

Most stuff will be bought between now and then. Even if you get nothing off of you registry you will have fun at your shower and get some amazing stuff for your LO anyway.
Its weird but I know for mine with DS most of the items were bought the weekend of.

People shop last minute, but a lot of people also got me gift cards. So if you don't see a lot of activity on the registry it could be that.

Re: Should I be worried? (Baby Shower)
I had a few bigger things missing off my registry early on, I knew that was close family buying up that stuff. But the majority of my registry was purchased the week of my shower. I think it's common for people to wait until the event is closer before buying their gift..........I know I always do!

I totally think people are just last minute shoppers. I know I usually am! Try not to worry. I also got many gifts that weren't on my registry.

Re: Should I be worried? (Baby Shower)
When I had my shower a month ago a lot of people waited until a few days before to buy anything. I was registry stalking too :). A few weeks before your due date, wherever your registered will send you a coupon for you to get a percentage off of what remains on your registry. So it's worth it to wait.

I keep stalking to and barely anything has moved. Of course ill be appreciative if I get clothes but I registered for specific things I need. It's frustrating.
