Inhailer while pregnant

I was diagnosed with asthma when I was a teenager, but kind of grew out of it as I entered my 20s. Last year, I had a series of issues with my breathing in relation to my allergies and my dr recommended an inhailer to help.
This am I woke up and I am having a hell of a time taking a deep breath. I know it is the weather and was thinking about taking my albuterol inhailer. Does anyone know if it is safe to take? Both my PCP and OB are closed today!

Yeah most inhalers are fine.

I have to use mine all the time. My dr. also said Singulair is okay. I use a Ventolin inhaler and Combivent.

Yes the inhaler is safe. I spoke to my sister, OB, and my pulmonologist about this because I was so dependent on my rescue inhaler. My sister was the first to give me the advice (since she's easier to contact then my doctors of course). She told me that 1/3 of pregnant woman with asthma get better, 1/3 stay the same, and 1/3 get worse. My sister told me while my regular medication is a Category B and my rescue inhaler is a Category C, oxygen is a Category A and that I need to be able to breathe, that is what is best for the baby. I was still a little worried and mentioned it to my two other doctors and told them what my sister said. They both agreed and said to take the inhaler when needed, lack of oxygen is more dangerous then taking your inhaler. They liked it so much they both even said they are going to use that when telling expectant mothers to use their rescue inhalers.

I hope this calmed down some of your concerns. I've had asthma since I was 8 years old so I understand how it feels not to be able to breathe. Also what Becky said. My doctor has me taking Zyrtec to help with my asthma too.
