baseboard heating "cover"
i have baseboard heating on the outerside of my kitchen peninsula facing into my dining room. people always end up pulling a stool or chair over there, or even standing, and i want to cover the baseboard with some kind of decorative and functional cover that will allow the heat through, but also for people to rest their feet on as they sit or stand there.
any ideas?
i think maybe ill make it myself with my dad. you can use wood right?
TIA

Re: baseboard heating "cover"
We have baseboard covers in DD's room and yes they are made out of wood. They aren't that wide though, but I guess you could rest your feet on them. Let me know if you'd like the name/# of the guy who did ours.

We had one built in our bathroom and it looks great. However, I don't feel it heats the room very well.
