Going home outfit for baby boy/neutral?
Can you show me what you going home outfit is for your baby boy or neutral?
I don't know if I should just get a onsie since it's going to be end of June/beginning of July or if I should get a whole outfit. I have a feeling MIL or my mom is going to try and get me it for my shower but this is something I REALLY want DH and I to agree with and buy for our son.

Going home outfit for baby boy/neutral?
I made it clear to my mom I wanted to get the coming home outfit. She went a little overboard with baby things so I made sure she knew we wanted to get that ourselves. I told her that she can buy something and call it the coming home outfit all she wants but that doesn't mean he's actually coming home in it!!
What I got probably won't be helpful to you since this kid is coming home in Febraury but we got him a jumper type outfit made of sweater material. I think you could do a cute onesie or maybe a lightweight material romper. I was in Carter's today and they had some really cute boy stuff!!

Re: Going home outfit for baby boy/neutral?
My DS was born in July and we were team and I bought a light weight two piece outfit from Carters. I don't have a pic on here cause it was almost 5 years ago but it was white with yellow, green, and peach polkadots. Though it was July, I was concerned about A/ C in the car being too cool, so the outfit had long sleeves and long pants with feet. It came with a short sleeve option. This one is due in July too but this time we are finding out so I'll choose an outfit based on my team.

Going home outfit for baby boy/neutral?
Thanks girls! I just didn't know if a onsie would be ok, IDK why though. I'm going looking today. Change of plans and going with my mom to look for something. DH wants DS to come home in a Rangers onsie and I REFUSE (I'm an Islanders fan although I root for the Rangers post season since my Islanders don't ever make it)!
Here's hoping I find something I like.

DH wanted DS to come home in a Steeler's outfit (he's from Pittsburgh) and I just pretended that I didn't hear him.
You'll find something cute! All of the spring/summer stuff is starting to come out. I did some serious damage at Carter's yesterday!! They're having a BOGO and you can use a coupon on top of it!

OMG!!! I LOVE that bib! No I didn't see it! Thanks! I might just HAVE to get that. DH are divided on Mets (me) and Yankees (him). I told him he can't have both teams so he has to choose one...he choose Rangers so our DS will be a Mets/Rangers fan but I think I still need to get this bib!!!

I SAW! I marked both items so I can go back and get them. SIL and BIL are Devils/Rangers and I think I might have to get a bib for my niece just for them!

Very cute! Another idea, if you are creative and sew, you can buy two onsies and cut them in half and sew them back together. It turns out really cute!!!

I'm creative, but my friends back home do all the work for me!! haha! I have friends making me quilts and all my nursery bedding. I designed it all but they have to actually put it all together! haha!

Re: Going home outfit for baby boy/neutral?
DD was born June 25th and I took her home in a light weight long sleeve long pants layette outfit from carters. Probably will do the same for this baby. Between the hospital, car, and house there is always a/c on. She was outside for 10 seconds from hospital to car and car to house.
