Kind of dumb questing about dressing baby girl for saf-t-swim

I am starting Saf-T-Swim with DD at the end of March. I know she needs the disposable swim diaper with a reusable swim diaper over it. I'm looking at azulily right now, and they have a sale on the iplay bathing suits. I see that you can buy the swim diaper separately, or as part of a set with a rash guard.

So, my question is...how do you dress your baby girl for saf-t-swim? Just the diapers with no top, or do you get the rash guard top?

I would also get the top. I am personally not a fan of little girls being naked on top. I am also starting my DD on 4/7.

Of course, I just realized that most of the stuff is sold out, or at least sold out in DD's size!

My instinct was to put DD in a complete bathing suit, but I just wasn't sure what was typical. Thanks!

We did the disposable water diaper with the reusable swim diaper over it with a full bathing suit over both. It was a little ridiculous but DD seemed to be comfortable.

This is exactly what we did.

I see a lot of bathing suits online with the reusable diaper built in, so I think I'll just get one of those to spare a layer. Thanks!

lol...I'm sorry for making that assumption. I have seen it so many times and am always like Chat Icon

Check out Carters, Gymboree, Target, Childrens Place. They all carry the two piece rashgaurd sets.

Oh, no need to apologize! That's why I asked for opinions. Chat Icon

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm finding a lot of cute bathing suits online with the reusable swim diapers built in - both one piece and two pieces, so now I see that there are lots of options. I didn't know that they came that way before I posted. I thought it was just a plain reusable swim diaper (proof of why one should always google first!).

When I took my older DD to Saf-T-Swim, I actually bought a bathing suit there that was a regular suit with the diaper built in. It was great. Definitely get one of those.

Where are you finding them? I have to buy the resusable swim diaper too.

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!

I asked the same question!!!

TIP:
Don't put her in her swim diaper until you get to Saf T Swim - they don't hold pee.

For that reason I got her a tankini with a reusable swim diaper.

So it's disposable swim dipe, reusable swim dipe, tankini top.

Get the set - so much easier IMO.

ETA: My question was whether or not she should be naked on top. LOLOLOLOL.

Amazon, ebay, BBB. I am going to check in BBB on Saturday, and I'll let you know what I find.
