Hold off till the second. The dr did tell me they say wait until after the first because then all the organs are formed by then and its just a question of developing

My doctor said as long as the room is well ventilated your fine...my son is 3 and half and im 35 weeks with number 2 and did it all along for both
I did the same!!!

Dying hair?
My sister and my doctor both told me to wait until my 2nd trimester. It was a nightmare but with numerous doctors telling me to wait I lived with the roots (which is something I NEVER do). They say if you do highlights it isn't as bad and also to make an appt early in the day so that you don't sit in the fumes that have been in the salon all day.

There are salons that use vegetable dye. This is what i did with DD and she is going to be 2.5 yrs ol and is perfect. I have had my roots done during this pregnancy as well but i will only use the vegetable based dye. I go to Two Stephens Street in Plainview. Not all salons use dye with a vegetable base but they use it there.

Dying hair?
I actually went to get it done in my second tri bc my doctor said it was fine and as it turns out my salon uses vegetable dye. It doesn't last as long which is annoying but I felt better about getting it done.
