I'm going to be pregnant forever!
I just got back from my 39w appointment and there is seriously nothing going on down there. Still only 1cm...
Monday is my due date and their office is closed so I have an NST scheduled for Tuesday and another for Thursday if nothing happens before then.
I think I am going to go jogging when I get home tonight.

I know how annoying it is to deal with this at the end, but so many first time moms go past their EDD. And, it's true what Mer said they all eventually come out.
And to be honest, there are days like today's spit up bonanza, where I wish I could put Sophie back in!

This was me 2 days before giving birth to DS. I walked and walked and walked and walked and walked... you get the idea. Im convinced it helped with the gravitational pull downward.

Lisa, she's too cute to put back in (spit up and all!!!)
I'm definitely going to try walking before I let Randy come anywhere near me. I am so uncomfortable after my internal today that I would probably just cry the entire time which I am sure he would really appreciate!!!

you never know what may happen!... at my appt 39w 1 day, i had absolutely nothing going on. In fact my doc discussed with me a possible induction date, if it had to come to that. Anyway, my water broke the next night, and DS came the morning after, 4 days before his due date. good luck!

This would be ideal!! I'm hoping my DS is on that same birth plan!!  We talked about what happens for next week if I'm still pregnant and inducing at 41 weeks... and I know he's not technically due for another week, I was just hoping to hear that there had been SOME change since my last appointment. To hear that nothing changed is just a little disappointing.

Good luck! I'm 40w4d and as of yesterday zero progress!! Cervix not at all effaced.
Just came back from a 2 mile walk...fingers crossed it helps....sex def has not helped me

Crashing but I was only 1cm when my water broke the day before my due date. I had DS 7 hours later. So anything can happen! Good luck!!

Get a massage ...that can bring on contractions! it happened to me & I really thought I was going to have the baby that day.....well contractions stopped an hour after my massage did..

that means nothing!
i had a dr's appointment at 11am and was told i'm not dilated or effaced at all .... at 7pm, i was admitted to the hospital and at 3am i was holding DS.
don't stress, your time will come good luck!
