No fuss portraits
Hello. I'd like to take dd for portraits for Easter. She is now 8 weeks old. I'm looking for a no-fuss portrait studio that is reasonably priced. Any suggestions? Though I love the look of freelance photographers, I'm not looking for the fuss/props/finding locations right now. Just a studio with a springtime backdrop who is good with infants! Not opposed to the likes of pennys or sears. Thank you!

The freelance photographers usually do the fussing for you but I agree that the portrait studios can do just as well. They get a bad rap on the message boards. I've done great with Sears at Smithaven Mall. We have gone many times & the only pics that weren't amazing were the holiday ones we did this year.

JC Penneys in Roosevelt Field mall is awesome! They almost always have coupons on their website.

No fuss portraits
I really like the JC Penney Portrait Studio at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa so I've used them the last 3 or 4 times, but I've also had good experiences at the Target in Bay Shore (that was maybe 2 years ago though).

No fuss portraits
I like sunrise mall and Roosevelt Field JCP. The sheets are $4 each and you can almost always find coupons too.
ETA: always try to make early appointments ESPECIALLY around holidays so you're not waiting forever. Anywhere you go will run behind, its just the way it is. Also, go in with an idea of what size pics you want and how many. That way you're not overwhelmed when you have to pick.

I have been taking DS to the Target in Levittown. I love them. We started taking DS at 6 month, we then took him again at Christmas time. He are great with him. The pictures come out great. Everyone can't believe I get my pictures done at target because they look that good!
