Can someone please explain how to give these vitamins??
I almost feel like the vitamins instructions are a riddle. 
DD is 12 months and ped prescribed vitamins to give now that she is on whole milk. The instructions say to give on an empty stomach AND 2-3 hours before any caloric intake.
How can this be? She never goes that long without eating something. When am I supposed to give these to her? Am I missing something? Obviously I am. Please help!

I don't follow the instructions. Dd has been on the vits for a long time and depending on her mood I give them to her either right before or after she eats.

Did you notice any stomach issues depending on when you gave them to her?
I normally don't stress about this kind of thing, but the ped reiterated the instructions so I got it in my head that they were important.
