Spirit Airlines...
just looking at their website for a potential bachelorette party in Myrtle beach..
wow they get you for everything..
$35 each way for a CARRY ON?!?!?! WHAAAAT ?!?!
and $30 each way for a checked bag?!?!
that is ridiculous! and why is it more money to have a carry on than a checked bag!?!?!
it is not like their fares are THAT low to begin with (at least the dates I am looking at)

Re: Spirit Airlines...
I flew Spirit once and will NEVER fly them again! I would rather spend a little more and fly Jet Blue then fly with them again. They charge for the bags to compensate for their lower fares... you must be flying at a time when fares are higher than usual.

The carry on thing is to help speed boarding and encourage you to check a bag instead of a carry on.
They are the best option to Myrtle Beach though. I fly them often - when they ate goof they are good, when they are bad, they are horrible. And their customer service sucks.

Re: Spirit Airlines...
I don't know if its a daily thing or what, but I checked our spring break dates and it came up from LGA direct. The only problem was its over $400 and I felt put refuse to spend that much for Myrtle Beach. I think we're going to drive.

Re: Spirit Airlines...
I wonder if they just added it or spring break? If you look up 3/23-3/30 you'll see it.

So does Spirit - and $30 for a carry on.
I think the Delta non-stop is only on weekends. We're going on a Tues through the following Fri on Spirit. Wish me luck!!!
