did your DC start to hold a crayon and scribble on paper?

Hmmm- I can't remember exactly.
Maybe 18 months. I know it was pretty young - she has always been good with fine motor stuff

I think we started around 15 months, but it still winds up in his mouth. Even now at just about 19 months. He will color some then after a while he will put in his mouth.

18 months it was still going in their mouths half the time  I would say by 2 they could do it and fight the urge to chew

At what age...
under a year but not scribble like regular scribble just marks. But she held the crayon properly. I think it was closer to 18m when she was specifically making circle scribbles (something she still loves to do, pretends to write stories).

I didn't really try until 13 months, but she took to it pretty quickly. By 14 months, we could give her crayons and a paper placemat at a diner and keep her busy for a while.

Dont remember! Maybe 12-13 months? He still just wants to eat the crayons at 18 months so we dont color for long!
